- Colonial Warfare in Portuguese Africa, 1846-1918 - This site is dedicated to the Portuguese colonial wars and geographical explorations in the African continent, during the second half of the 19th century until the second decade of the 20th. I hope to unveil the tip of the iceberg of this obscure colonial experience, almost as dark and mysterious as the land itself.
